This wrap is strong and supportive, even with a bigger kid. For a newborn definitely needs a breaking-in period before the baby arrives :) When soft, it is thin enough from birth up. Glides well in multiple layered carries and stays there because of the hemp. Beautiful Celtic pattern Braid.
